Jason Heath
Jason Heath is the founder of Double Bass HQ, a website that unites the double bass community through high-quality events, discussions, knowledge sharing, and creator support. His podcast, Contrabass Conversations, has surpassed 1,100 episodes and reached over 3 million downloads. Jason is a former board member of the International Society of Bassists.
Jason is a course creator for Discover Double Bass and a D’Addario Orchestral and Eastman Strings Artist. His former students perform with prestigious ensembles, including the Chicago Symphony, Lyric Opera of Chicago, Malmö Symphony Orchestra, and Philharmonie Sudwestfalen.
Jason performed with the Elgin Symphony for 16 seasons and has appeared with renowned orchestras, including the San Francisco Symphony, Lyric Opera of Chicago, and Grant Park Symphony.

Trevor Jones
Trevor Jones is a Chicago-based bassist and co-founder of Double Bass HQ, and has partnered with Jason Heath since 2016. He serves as House Bassist and Music Coordinator at the Marriott Theatre in Lincolnshire, IL, where he has played on dozens of productions. He also freelances widely across the Chicago area and writes and performs in the alternative rock band Molehill, which has toured nationally and earned coverage in the Chicago Tribune.
Trevor endorses Gallien-Krueger amplifiers and cabinets and is a D'Addario Artist.
