The Bradetich Double Bass Master Classes, held at the University of North Texas, are one of the longest-running events of their kind in the U.S, offering a highly concentrated week of study for aspiring bassists. Participants, who come from four continents as well as all corners of the U.S., receive optimum individual and group instruction in every aspect of double bass playing. All participants have the opportunity to perform with piano accompaniment during the solo classes. The master classes end with a grand finale concert featuring ensemble performances by the participants and various guest bassists. These unique master classes are open to well-qualified high school and college students, young professionals, string teachers, and amateur double bass enthusiasts who seek to rejuvenate their love and knowledge of the double bass.
