An exciting weekend with double bass, sun, and the sea, and more double bass!
For all bass lovers and ALL levels of playing – from absolute beginners to professionals, both double bass, bass guitar, and mini-bass! Masterclasses and lessons will be held by internationally acclaimed double bassists and performers.
Organized by Gjorgji Cincievski, the Malta International Double Bass Day’s aim is to promote the double bass as the true versatile instrument that it is and bring it closer to the wider public, making it more approachable and encouraging young musicians to pick up this wonderful instrument, as well as motivate advanced students to further their studies and careers on this instrument,
The weekend consists of intense lectures and master classes both by local and internationally acclaimed guest professors, and evening concerts.
